Julie Duke

Julie Duke received her certification as an etiquette and protocol consultant from The Protocol School of Washington®. Her experience with matters of protocol and etiquette was honed over the decade she worked in Washington, D.C. for the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Shakespeare Theatre. During those years she managed several events that included the President and Vice President of the United States, Members of Congress, Cabinet Members and Members of the Diplomatic Corps as participants.
Currently serving as a Senior Major Gift Officer at Michigan State University, Julie has worked with major performing arts institutions throughout the United States and Canada, both in executive management and as a consultant, for more than 30 years.
Julie graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy and received her B.A. from Northwestern University.
Donna L. Ullrich, M.A., J.D.

Donna L. Ullrich is certified as an etiquette and protocol consultant by the Etiquette and Leadership Institute, L.L.C. An experienced, enthusiastic, and talented educator, Donna has taught communications at the college level since 1982. She recently joined Michigan State University in the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies where she writes grants. Before joining MSU, she was a full-time faculty member of the University Michigan-Flint Communications & Visual Arts Department. She also has a faculty appointment to the University of Maryland University College's Communications Studies Department.
Donna served the University of Michigan-Flint as the director of University and Alumni Relations (1994-1999) and as the Director of Communication for University of Michigan Public Television (1999-2003). In those positions, she coordinated a presidential visit, co-authored congressional testimony, and received numerous awards for marketing campaigns. For more than a decade, she worked on a part-time basis for the Wayne State University College of Education as a grant writer and researcher.
Donna received her B.S. in Education from Central Michigan University, her M.A. in Mass Communications from Central Missouri State University, and her J.D. from the University of Detroit Law School.
